IEC-BC to host 2012 Leader’s Summit on Immigrant Employment

Employers from across BC will discuss strategies and solutions to leverage immigrant talent for BC workplaces at an invitation-only Summit, Tap into Immigrant Talent – A Key to Business Success on September 18, 2012.

More than 150 senior decision makers and leaders from small, medium and large businesses, industry and business associations and, federal and provincial government will hear from a diverse line-up of speakers sharing employer leading practices on hiring and retaining immigrant talent as well as current provincial and federal immigrant workforce initiatives. The Summit will also feature practical workshop sessions on hiring and retaining skilled immigrant talent.

Proceedings of the Summit will be summarized in a report that will be available on IEC-BC’s website later in the fall.
